WABC Eyewitness News January 12, 2016

The moon starting to get covered with clouds. Youve got to wonder if thats the clouds coming in from that line of snow squalls over pennsylvania. As you can see route 23 behind me moving along pretty well. No snow falling right now obviously but we did shoot some video earlier of when that snow was coming down at a good clip. You can see that roads have been in decent shape. The snow was accumulating quickly on grassy and untreated surfaces, also reducing visibility at times. Luckily for drivers, though the new jersey d. O. T. Has been staying on top of this event, and they offered some advice for tonight. As the temperatures drop when the sun goes down, you know, it could look like its clear pavement, but it could freeze over quickly. Also if you see crews that are working whether theyre spreading brine or spreading salt, stay back. Let them do their job, basically theyre going to be out there getting that road treated and cleared for you so its better just to be a little bit patient,

The complaint detailed personal trips by Lundin in state vehicles totaling thousands of miles that weren t accounted for. It also detailed his use of state computers to store files related to his private law practice, visit dating websites, and download at least 122 prurient images of nude or naked males.

Sussex County towns protest election cost increases

The county is responsible to pay for the general election in its entirety, with the local governments paying for primaries, Parrott wrote. The deputy county clerk s original letter explained that state mandates stemming from the 2018 and 2019 election changes in the state, raised costs because they require counties to send mail-in ballots to all registered voters. Those mailed ballots include special envelopes to return the ballots by mail, or to bring it to a drop-off box. In addition to the cost of producing the ballots, there is an extra postage charge for those sent back via mail. It wasn t until the federal election of 2020, a presidential election and its increase in the number of voters, that the added expense was apparent. The pandemic cut down on people who voted in person and increased the number of ballots mailed back.
