Coming up in the next half hour. And two teenagers in custody suspected of shooting a Police Officer with a pellet gun outside of Gracie Mansion. The Police Officer is assigned to the mayors security detail. Janelle burrell has more this morning. Reporter the Police Officer has been treated and released from the hospital, expected make a full recovery, but the two teens, a 19yearold man and a 19yearold woman, in custody this morning. Police questioning them as they try to pinpoint who was responsible. Investigators say the officer was getting out of the passengers side of this black ford taurus when the pellet struck her in the back just yards from Gracie Mansion. The female officer, part of mayor de blasios advance team pulled up to the mayors residence on east end avenue ahead of his arrival when the incident happened around 7 15 sunday night. Police say the officers partner immediately looked up and noticed people looking outside from the Apartment Building across the street. Office

Sources tell news 4 that james burke today will plead guilty to a number of criminal charges. He was arrested in december on two charges of obstruction of bu stice and civil rights violations. He resigned from the department while under investigation by federal agents. Hes been behind bars without bail since his arrest. The judge saying he was a danger to the community and could influence other Law Enforcement officers to act on his behalf. The charges accuse burke of beating a man named christopher lobe in december of to 12 who was arrested after stealing a in front of his home.
