Ive issued a first alert this afternoon for the potential for severe storms in our area. Damaging winds, heavy downpours are a possibility for the afternoon. Were watching the showers in western pennsylvania. They havent fired up just yet but as they moved into our area theyre going to be moving into a much warmer air mass this afternoon.
