Students at two schools in Cape May County are facing serious charges in a sexting scandal. Matt delucia has the story. What happened and how did police find out about this . Reporter 20 students are in trouble here. That is because of this sexting scandal. Police say that several nude and partially nude photos of female students were being exchanged via text message and social media. All of those charged are male students at Lower Cape May Regional High School entitlement middle school. Police were tipped off and one of the victims friends alerted officials this was going on. 20 cell phones were confiscated. All 20 students were charged with invasion of privacy which could mean two years in a State Training School for juvenile offenders. One of the 20 is an adult and that student could face three to five years in prison. The superintendent says the families and most of the young men are fully cooperating amid a tough issue. With the new technology with parents, the school is continuing to try to educate students about the hazards of it. Miklos jugovics is charged with invasion of privacy and other crimes. Police say in march jugovics used a pen with a builtin camera to film women at a target in abington township. He came back to the store one week later to pull the same stunt. Also today, a Chester County judge will decide if a dentist should stand trial for stealing drugs intended for his patients. Thats what hes accused of. Dr. Chad gretzula is charged. He ellislely wrote prescriptions for his wife rebecca, and staffers. She worked as anesthesiologist. The couple replaced drugs that were used for sedating patients with saline solution which could have led to some painful experiences for patients. A newborn baby is still in Critical Condition this morning after emergency crews rushed that child from balis casino in Atlantic City last night. Investigators are trying to figure out exactly what happened. The 2monthold who had been born prematurely was having difficulty breathing around 7 30 monday night. They flew the baby to Childrens Hospital in philadelphia. Authorities are investigating. Philadelphia police have officially linked this man to two attacks on women inside their south philadelphia homes. Investigators noticed similarities between an attack on march and one on monday. In that most recent case the man sexually assaulted and woman and robbed her on the 1800 block of rose wood street. Police are warning victims to lock their doors and windows. They believe the attacker lives in that area. Today voters in the Christina School district will decide whether to give themselves a property tax increase. If they vote no theyll have to cut jobs classroom sizes. Voters already voted no. Theyre now asking for a smaller tax increase. Polls will be open from 10 00 a. M. To 10 00 p. M. More job cuts in the Atlantic City school district. 32 tenured teachers received job layoffs. 42 people were reassigned. This was after 450 jobs were cut earlier.
