Theres a crash at lower gwen ed at welsh and evans root. Watching the bridges, the burlington bristol bridge is closed now with a construction project until 5 00. About another half hour for that. Typically what they do is do alternating lanes of construction in both directions. Now all lanes are closed in both directions. With another half hour of that, you may need an alternate. So really the moisture in the ground wasnt able to dry out. So any rain that hits the surface, it can lead to flooding. And what were looking at is the threat zone highest over southern delaware and the jersey shore. The yellows and reds is the heaviest rain falling out there. There is now a Flash Flood Warning in place through 8 15 this morning and that is because we already have reports of over three inches of rain that have fallen. 3 to 4 inches is only needed for flooding to occur.
