On your radar the big question, kathy orr, when well get a break from this heat. I think after tomorrow we will feel a huge difference. Temperatures will still be quite warm but i think the humidity is the big part of puzzle here. Ultimate doppler you can see some showers in south jersey through salem, gloucester and also cumberland counties. Another batch of heavy rain from baltimore and washington moving across the Eastern Shore heading toward delaware not a lot of lightning associated with it more rain to come during the Early Morning hours. You can see gloucester, elk, pitts grove and also that was millville and this is moving toward the northeast toward winslow the expressway and you can see buena heading toward galloway if it all holds together. Right now light to moderate rain. Outside were talking about warmth and humidity. The humidity is rising the temperature is 85. The high today 94. It still feels like its 92 with the heat and humidity. 68 in the poconos. Almost refreshing there. 85 in philadelphia. 80 in millville and not a big difference from the city to the shore. As we look in camden its 82. Voorhees 81. Hammonton little bit cooler ocean city sitting at 80 degrees. Beach haven at 78. Something is going to change tomorrow. That is the humidity. There will be arise in humidity because of this warm front that will be lifting back north through the delaware valley. So with it, an increase in the dew point. The humidity and increase in temperature as we make it to 95 degrees tomorrow afternoon. So that will make it feel oppressive once again. So during the overnight, waves of some showers especially to the south and east of the philadelphia. Tomorrow morning a chance of a shower or storm with that warm front. But more humidity russ showers and storms in the afternoon really after 3 00 p. M. That we see a line forming and by about 7 00 oclock in the evening through philadelphia right along that i95 corridor. Amazing the way that lines up. Theyll be moving on through. Some thunder obviously some lightning. Some heavy downpours associated with this and some gusty winds. Now there is a slight risk of Severe Weather and right now that is focused through the Lehigh Valley and the pock notice this is the greatest risk area to see some damaging winds and really the possibility of flooding rain. I think that will be the highest threat with those storms. Overnight tonight, partly cloudy and muggy 76 in the city. The suburbs 72. With some spotty showers and storms mainly south and east. The high tomorrow 95 with scattered storms especially in the afternoon and on your seven day forecast, 91 wednesday. Thursday and friday temperatures touching 90. That would be day 10 of the heat wave. Saturday 88. Sunday 87. And monday temperatures go below average for a change after tomorrow it will certainly be less oppressive. Down the shore house in the mid to upper 80s for the most part. Pack the sunscreen. Thats very latest from the weather center. Well send it back to you. Kathy, they built 95 for weather people.
