Since the pandemic began with more than 10,000 cases reported since yesterday. More than 18,000 people with the virus have now died in our state. Including 94 deaths in the past 24 hours. In the last week or so, a lot of items sold out early in the pandemic are selling out again amide this new second wave and rise in cases and the holiday rush. Ktvu has been looking into the increased demand and tells us what Grocery Stores are doing in the face of this second surge in sales. When the pandemic began, toilet paper, paper towels, disinfectants, sugar, rice, flour, and other items were swept from the shelves.
