Earlier on friday, huge plumes of smoke could be seen rising from the capital of lebanon, after israel said it fired a series of rockets into beirut. The israeli Defence Force says it was targetting hezbollah s headquarters, as huge explosions leveled buildings in beirut s densely populated Southern Suburbs. Hezbollah S Leader, Hassan Nasrallah was reportedly the target of the explosions. Neither Israel Nor Hezbollah has formally confirmed his status. At least six people died in the attack and more than 90 have been injured according to lebanese officals.
