Pepperdine, ranked 10th in the nation, had a strong day and stands at 28-under-par 540 after two rounds. The defending National Champions are 14 shots ahead of sixth ranked Arizona State and 16 ahead of fourth ranked North Carolina, the highest ranked team in the field.
