Police said they had to break a part of the car’s roof to pull them out
GREATER NOIDA: Four college students, who were returning home after a New Year party, were injured when the car they were travelling in hit a metro pillar on Friday morning. The accident took place around 2.30am and it is believed that the youths could not spot the pillar because of dense fog.
The students were on their way to Jaypee Aman, Sector 151, when their car crashed into the pillar opposite a petrol pump at Tugalpur in Knowledge Park area.
Police said they had to break a part of the car’s roof to pull out the students and then Manish Bhati (22), brothers Vaibhav Gaur (20) and Sameer Gaur (18), and Aniket Latwala (20) were taken to Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida for treatment.
