Representative image MUMBAI: Shree Jogdhankar, arrested for the alleged murder of his friend 19-year-old psychology student, Jhanvi Kukreja, on January 1, has applied for bail before a sessions court on Monday. Kukreja was found dead near the staircase at Bhagwati Heights in Khar (West) and in the same building, she along with Jogdhankar and the other accused Diya Padalkar (19) attended the New Year party on December 31 night. Kukreja was found dead by a building resident at around 2.30 am on January 1 who then informed the building owner’s son Yash Ahuja who has organized the party. Kukreja was found dead with multiple head injuries and even blood stains were found on the staircase railing on the second floor where her head was banged that led to her death. Police reached the spot at around 3 am and her parents learnt about her death at around 5 am.
