Here in the North Country, State Assemblyman Billy Jones recently took a tour of Plattsburgh city government to meet employees, including police officers. He spoke with Ryan Finnerty outside the Plattsburgh police station about what he’s heard from constituents and law enforcement officers in his district. Their conversation has been lightly edited for clarity. Jones:  We can always improve. And the fine men and women that work in these departments, for the most part I think they know that and always are looking to improve, looking to engage with the community.
