[email protected] OATHS TAKEN â Wintersville Council President Robbie Martin was administered oaths of office, as the villageâs interim mayor, Friday by Wintersville county court Judge Michael Bednar. Warren scott WINTERSVILLE Wintersville joined other local communities undergoing major transitions when Council President Robbie Martin was sworn in as interim mayor. The action came on Friday following the resignation in April of Bob Gale, who held the position for 13 years. Martin also is no stranger to the village. A lifelong Wintersville resident, he has served on council for close to 20 years, during which he has been council president 10 years, often alternating with Councilman Bob Merriman. ....
