Jul 21, 2021 It was informed that the District Administration Poonch received 250 applications of which 70 beneficiaries were approved in the first phase. Elated for being one of the beneficiaries, Shazad Ahmed said that he was unemployed and applied for availing the loan under the MUMKIN scheme and became a proud owner of a commercial vehicle. “Now, I am self-employed and can provide employment to atleast one person by engaging him as a helper,” he added. The DDC handed over keys of the Vehicles to the beneficiaries and said the youth of the district are keen to take advantage of this scheme. He said that the District Administration will make concerted efforts to achieve 100% target under this scheme. ....
DDC Chairperson Poonch reviews developmental scenario in Mandi DDC Chairperson Poonch reviews developmental scenario in Mandi Excelsior Correspondent POONCH, July 11: Chairperson, District Development Council, Poonch, Tazeem Akhter today reviewed the developmental scenario and achievements of the different departments of Tehsil Mandi, at a meeting held in Dak Bunglow Loran. Block Development Council Chairperson Sathra, BDC Chairperson Loran, DDC Member Mandi, DDC Member Loran & ADDC and all District, Sectoral and Tehsil Officers attended the meeting. The members raised different issues of public importance. Responding to the demands, suitable directions were passed by the chairperson to the concerned department. The meeting discussed various issues including, shortage of Staff in NTPHC Sathra, Non availability of land for sub centre Chakrara, uninterrupted power supply for PHC loran, blacktopping of roads from Saikloo to Gali Pindi, and from Bandi Kamakhan ....
Srinagar: On National Anti-Terrorism Day which is being observed every year on May 21, the respective District Administrations of all the districts of Kashmir today organised simple but impressive functions to mark the day. The day is being observed to commemorate the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who was killed in a suicide attack in Tamil Nadu in 1991. On the occasion the respective Deputy Commissioners of all the districts read out the pledge while the audience too participated and pledged to oppose with strength, all forms of terrorism and violence. At Srinagar: On the eve of Anti-Terrorism Day, a pledge taking ceremony was held at Banquet Hall Srinagar in which participants took the Anti-Terrorism Pledge and solemnly expressed their strong faith in Indias tradition of non-violence and tolerance exuded their firm commitment to oppose with all strength all forms of terrorism and violence. ....
Share Anantnag : The Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Piyush Singla today said the involvement of PRIs and people at community level is imperative in tackling the surge of cases during the second wave. He said this while chairing a meeting of officers of district administration, health and other concerned departments here at Dak Bangalow Khanabal. Addressing the meeting, the DC emphasised that the PRIs through Panchayat Health Clubs would ensure people follow restrictions, SOPs, get vaccinated besides strict home isolation of the positive cases.
