Anantnag : The Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Piyush Singla today said the involvement of PRIs and people at community level is imperative in tackling the surge of cases during the second wave.
He said this while chairing a meeting of officers of district administration, health and other concerned departments here at Dak Bangalow Khanabal.
Addressing the meeting, the DC emphasised that the PRIs through Panchayat Health Clubs would ensure people follow restrictions, SOPs, get vaccinated besides strict home isolation of the positive cases. He directed the Incident Commanders (SDMs) to effectively engage these Health Clubs in an institutional way for Covid-19 Mitigation efforts and monitor operations in their respective jurisdictions.
