July 01, 2021 BAGUIO CITY – To ensure that people are well informed about the government’s coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination program, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has installed a system that will provide free Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) to the residents of Mankayan town in Benguet.
Mankayan Mayor Frensel Ayong on Wednesday said the project is a joint undertaking of the DICT, the Mankayan local government unit (LGU), and Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company (LCMC) to provide connectivity to the primary vaccination site established in the town.
“It is a DICT-initiated project with our collaboration in support of the health services,” Ayong said.

Ogilvy Philippines has released this Mother’s Day campaign for Mondelez brand Eden. ‘Unconditional’ is directed by Carlos Palanca-Awardee, Antoinette Jadaone.
The campaign was launched at the #EdenSpeaks Facebook live event, graced by special guest speakers such as Bettinna Carlos-Eduardo, a Mompreneur, content creator, and author; Techie Dy, Consultant of RMT-Cefam, Ateneo, and is a PhD Candidate of Clinical Psychology from the University of the Philippines; and Kristine Enriquez, Eden Cheese Brand Manager.

Published January 9, 2021 1:59pm At least three devotees fainted during the Feast of the Black Nazarene in Manila on Saturday, according to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO). Interviewed on Super Radyo dzBB, MDRRMO Director Arnel Angeles said one incident involved a woman who had just finished her nine-day novena. After the novena, the woman became dizzy and her blood pressure shot up along Carlos Palanca Street. The victim was given medical attention at the Manila Doctors Hospital. No other details were available about the two other fainting incidents as of posting time. Ambulances and medics were on stand-by in case of untoward incidents, Angeles said.
