LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – Florida State scored three runs in the ninth inning – and the final seven runs of the game – to complete a 7-4 comeback victory over Louisville Friday night at Jim Patterson Stadium. Jackson Baumeister pitched a career-high 8.0 innings, and Brennen Oxford earned his first career save with a perfect ninth inning.
Louisville took the lead with a pair of home runs in the third inning – a leadoff home run from Logan Beard, and a three-run shot from JT Benson – to take the 4-0 lead.

Every Seminole starter had a hit against Mercer, led by James Tibbs’ 3-for-3 performance with two doubles and two walks. Tibbs now leads FSU with a .341 batting average, 51 runs and 39 walks.
