yellow and orange, indicating areas of moderate to heavy rainfall right through the central part of the bay area, it s eased up a bit, but that won t last long. holdi holding .14. over half an inch in oakland. so it s wet all around the bay area. and our storm tonight ranks two on the impact scale. we ll continue to see moderate rainfall through the overnight. and moderate flooding is possible. stronger gusts, downed trees and power lines are possible. here s a forecast animation, taking us through the overnight hours, pockets of moderate to heavy rainfall right into the beginning of the morning commute, but after that, we ll see a little bit of a break. the rain eases up a bit, but that s not the end of it. there will be more to come, including some weekend storms about which i shall report later. the north bay is getting hit the hardest tonight. one spot has picked up more than three inches of reain. over 4,000 pg&e customers lost power tonight. we have the story ....
