did not apologize. during the meetings, ukraine in focus the g-7 statement says that the world leaders reaffirm their support for ukraine for as long as it takes. they pledge to starve russia of technology and equipment it needs for war as well as hold those responsible accountable for international war crimes. reports say the ukrainian president will make a surprise in person visit to the talks with the g-7 leaders here in hiroshima and ask for more weapons. possibly the weapons the ukraine wants will be to go on offensive. is the g-7 unified in military action or in military aid for ukraine against russia? all of these g-7 leaders have been supporting ukraine in various different ways. everyone has to do it their own way. these are sovereign decisions there has been terrific unity and resolve the president has every expectation that that unity and resolve is going to remain in place here at the g-7 and beyond. so the president reassuring other world leaders that ....
