The city of Loveland announced Friday that repairs to a sewage line serving the Loveland Resource Center at 137 N. Lincoln Ave., will start on Monday. The line collapsed last weekend, leaving the center without a working bathroom, running water and laundry facilities, according to a news release.
While Friday is expected to see a high of 33 degrees with a 30% chance of snow after 11 a.m., overnight into Saturday the temperature will drop to a low of 2 below zero with a wind chill value as low as 16 below zero, with winds of 10 to 15 mph and gusts as high as 24 mph, according to the National Weather Service 7-day forecast.
City of Loveland municipal buildings other than the city’s homeless shelters will be closed to the public on Monday in observance of Christmas Day and again on Monday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year’s Day.
