Debris and mudflows causing significant damage to homes and roads. Mud pushed up against the homes spilling over onto the street. Firefighters say at least two people were hurt and nearly 50 horses were rescued. Look at that sludge and mud and mess right there. The mudflow is from the river fire zone from last august. While the bay area escaped flooding and mudslides for now, many areas instead got snow. Jodi hernandez went to one spot that just last week was the site of a brush fire. Fireworks explosion, this evening. The San Francisco fire drain pipe, it blew ice larger three windows out of the house, no injuries. 15 especially were displaced by fire in San Franciscos Mission District that may have been started by fireworks. Two buildings burned and no one hurt. Bu warning. San francisco, fireworks are illegal for a reason. We could lose entire communities by fireworks. In the east bay, contra costa fire crews are busy as well. Fireworks are blamed for a grass fire off of highway 4 and also they are fighting a barn fire. The cause of the fires is under sth up a hill side in san jose. It started at about 7 00. That is near the happy hollow zoo. You can see the flames burning the grass there. It took san jose firefighters a little more than an hour and a half to get it under control.
