be a free agent out there. reporter: we are back live. you are looking from chopper 5 at the phillip burton federal building and united states courthouse where any moment now state senator leland yee is expected to walk out after paying a half million dollars bail. the conditions of his relief include travel restricted to the state of california, surrendered his passport and not allowed to possess firearms. this 130-some-page indictment so extensive a couple of things that jumped out to me, statements that leland yee allegedly made about him taking $5,000 to arrange this meeting with the weapons dealer and in fact he said if he became secretary of state, he didn t want to have anything to do with the money. that he didn t want to go to jail. these are pretty damning statements if they re true. reporter: they are. you know, we must say that, you know, he is innocent until proven guilty. these are the allegations brought by the federal government but yes, what is striking
