With the smoke a spare the air alert has been issued today through tuesday. So the worst air quality with slow improvements. It is 49 in santa rosa so we like those warmer nights and cooler evenings. We have that around santa rosa this morning, but the more common theme, unfortunately, is a view like this around walnut creek with a bit of a red sunrise occurring around the bay area. You see all the smoke around walnut creek, inland Contra Costa County on the map this morning. You can see all the areas in red, essentially from the Berkeley Hills east, through the trivalley, the creek through sunol and livermore. The worst is around yountville, windsor and calistoga, in the purple, very unhealthy, aqi number over 200.
