it happened at 10:40 this morning here in the tenderloin. 00 parked his blue scion waiting to pick up his wife. the 4-month-old baby girl was in the backseat. he heard banging on his car. another individual came up and kicked the vehicle and he tried to pull him over to inspect the car to see if there was any damage. another person jumped into the car and drove off. 00 flagged down police who then radioed the description of the car and license plate number. ten minutes later sergeant ken lee was driving on the 500 park of bryant street looking for the car when he thought he spotted it. the suspicious vehicle was here, parked in front of the public defender s office door. i only had a partial plate at the time so i wasn t able to confirm if that was the car or not, but once i exit the driver s side door the suspect exited. sergeant lee was right on. he said alimou explained what happened. he said he got in the car and there was a baby in the back, so i hand cuffed him
dispatch call. there is a baby in the back of of a toyota scion. just doing our job. every single peace officer in the nation would have done the same. officer ken lee spotted solomon and the stolen car parked in front of the public defender s office. police took him into custody and the baby was reunited with her mom and dad. police are now searching for a 6-year-old girl in the santa cruz county. she is missing and she was last seen at the school in watsonville. she was supposed to board a bus, but it is not clear whether she ever did and she s wearing a black shirt and black pants and carrying a tinkerbell backpack. if you have any information, please call 911. pressure social media may have been the reason an accused child groper turned himself in to palo alto police. 47-year-old rob chapman called the dispatch line a little more than a day after incriminating surveillance photos were posted on social media and chapman was accused of groping a 12-year-old as she s
