i will tell you where to expect the most snow coming up. alyx: first on kcci. an overnight fire has left extensive damage to a des moines home. fire crews responded to the 1500 block 17th street just after 3:00 this morning. fire officials say a man inside the home was cooking. he was able to get out without any injuries. when crews arrived on the scene the home was fully engulfed, destroying the porch and charring a wall. right now crews are working on assessing the damage. we ll tell you what a neighbor heard just before the fire, coming up. it s finally game day. tonight is the night where the denver broncos take on the carolina panthers. the two teams have been gearing up all week long from practices to media appearances. blue and orange have taken santa clara by storm. and the players appreciate everything the fans have done for their teams. all the festivities, the all you see is panthers and broncos conversation so it s hard to take it all in. we are very grateful
