Thats when the three suspects in the car tried to get away. It appears at one point officers tried to break the window but just does not stop the suspects. The car backs up and then tries to take off and heres what happens next from a different angle. One officer opens fire. This is body cam video from officer jonathan mills. You can hear them warn the driver and then the gunshots when the car comes right at him. Police park. Put it in park now, the officer shot the laymans who crashed into a vacant home but survived. He now faces felony charges for aggravated assault on an officer with a car. The two other suspects in the car got away, officer mills was not hurt in the incident.
