Headlines for Saturday, February 6th


The Wayne County Health Department reported nine new positive cases of the coronavirus Thursday and Friday, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed positive cases for the county to 1457.  The latest cases are two females in their 20s, a male in his 20s, a male in his 30s, a female in her 50s, a male in his 50s and three males in their 60s.  The health department also reports 148 “probable” cases of COVID-19 in Wayne County, with 11 of those currently isolating and being actively contact traced.  As of this morning the Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 1,141,219 cases of the coronavirus statewide and 19,526 deaths. ....
