With his family when he saw the mangled wreckage of a chp officer and a red cadillac that was speeding by him earlier. That cadillac was probably doing 20 to 30 Miles Per Hour faster than us eshared these pictures. He says the cadillac rear ended the Highway Patrol suv as the two officers were parked near the on ramp to 880 south. Stein says the officer sitting in the driver seat, Jonathan Velasquez was shaken, but ok, but the other officer, 33year old Andrew Camilleri was not. Andrew was unconscious at the time and no pulse. The officer was 33 years old and he leaves behind a wife and three young children. He died from injuries from a crash that happened just before midnight on december 24. He and his partner were parked on the shoulder. Investigators say that a drunk driver slammed into the officers patrol car and injuring him and killing his partner. Sky fox was overhead for the procession, the First Responders are paying their respects, a hearse carrying the officers body passed below. Reporter dozens of people came here tonight to pay their respects. There is shock and disbelief from people who knew them and those who didnt. This officers life was cut short.
