report of a gunshot fired. a man in his late 20 s who has yet to be identified was found dead in a newark shopping center saturday morning.employees say a customer walked by and saw the victim slumped over the steering wheel.jimmy lee, shopping plaza employee his engine was running and the windshield wipers were on. the victim was shot at least once in the head while sitting in the driver s seat of this dark grey bmw. the first homicide of the year was called into police at half past noon.but plaza employees say they think it happened hours before. we re still looking at videos and witnesses but we do have some leads. newark police aren t releasing any surveillence video at this time.but we were able to watch footage from a nearby business. in it a white or silver suv pull up to the car where the victim was found - about three men got out and into the victim s car then fled just before a call came through that the man was killed. for now police have covered up the vict ....
