Many lost their houses. They dont have water, food. Thats why a group of bay area Puerto Ricans formed a coalition called sf for pr. They plan to do as much as possible to send money and donations to the island. Many of these bay area residents have family members in puerto rico who have been directly affected by hurricane maria.
