CLEMSON, S.C. - Director of Athletics Graham Neff and Senior Associate AD/Senior Woman Administrator Stephanie Ellison-Johnson announced the formation of the POWER: Women’s Leadership Academy. CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson women’s basketball has announced the addition of Latrese Saine, a graduate transfer from Southeast Missouri State, to its 2021 class. Saine joins fellow grad transfer Kiara Lewis as part of a 2021 class that includes five freshmen (Makayla Elmore, Kionna Gaines, Eno Inyang, Madison Ott, and Sydney Standifer) and a junior college transfer (Daisha Bradford). A 6-foot-4 center from West Memphis, Ark., Saine spent the last five seasons at SEMO, where she appeared in 101 games. She received a medical redshirt following her freshman year, allowing her to play the next four for the Redhawks. Last year, her senior season, Saine was named All-OVC First Team and the OVC defensive player of the year after blocking 103 shots. She averaged 10.38 points and 8.54 rebounds in 2020-21, with eight double-doubles. Women’s Basketball Adds Syracuse Transfer CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson women’s basketball has announced the addition of Kiara Lewis, a graduate transfer from Syracuse, to its 2021 class. Lewis joins a 2021 class that includes five freshmen (Makayla Elmore, Kionna Gaines, Eno Inyang, Madison Ott, and Sydney Standifer) and a junior college transfer (Daisha Bradford). A 5-foot-8 guard from Chicago, Ill., Lewis spent the last three seasons at Syracuse, where she appeared in 89 games, making 55 starts. She averaged 13.1 points per game for the orange, while dishing out 289 assists and tallying 112 steals. Arguably her best year for the Orange came in 2019-20, when she was named All-ACC First Team after starting all 31 games and averaging 17.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. ....
