So my grandparent took in washing and my grandfather refused to do that type of work. And the family split. The older kids went to college in the family. And they were teachers. The youngest kid was sent to school by the middle children, who did not go to college. They had to work to help pay. So that again, we go about the color line thing. I was born in d. C.
