I went up to stenson beach and it took until 5 00 in the evening before the sky cleared and it was nice and cool. And we could see the fog starting out early in San Francisco. Seeing it misting and drizzling at times and here our temperatures will stay in the 60s. You head across the bay to oakland. It is in the mid70s and upper 80s for the south bay. And then some mid90s for the east bay. Up in ukiah today, expect a high of 98 while santa rosa will get a little bit of the ocean breeze coming through the mountain gaps and well be in the mid80s. The nimitz freeway the second and third crashes of the last 45 minutes now block your right lanes southbound and jammed up to about fremont boulevard. Tow trucks are en route. Were starting off the day because of that onshore flow, that better air quality as well as foggy conditions and even some patchy drizzle along the coast ride around the bay this morning. There may be an accident actually in the area involving a couple of vehicles and we have very red on the sensors here and a lot of slowing as you work your way in this area. This is south 880 heading into fremont. Looks like were getting first reports of a crash in that area.
