most of our precipitation last night fell as rain, and it should be completely out of the viewing area by sunrise. but, as temperatures continue to drop to near/below freezing, some ice could still develop on area roads and make things a bit slick for this morning s commute. we ll also have a strong northwest wind to deal with this morning with gusts upwards of 30 miles per hour. said wind will diminish throughout the day as clouds stay in place for the most part keeping our temperatures in the 30s. another weak disturbance passing by to our north might drop a quick snow shower on northern siouxland late tonight//arly wednesdada morning, but other than that, tooight shuld be dry, but with some patchy fog. wednesday will brig more gray and cool conditions before the more serious warming comes on thursday with highs jumping up to the 50s and staying there for friday and saturday as winds pick up again. we ll also see increasing sunshine to add to our warmth as we move int ....

high wind watch in effect for holt county from 6 pm tonight until 6 am friday our warm-up resumes today with highs returning to the 40s and 50s (maybe a few 60s out west?)! there will still be a fair amount of cloud cover/patchy fog along with a few rays of sunnhine and a briik southhasterly wiid, so it won exactly be the prettiest of days, but hey, warmth is warmth! a cold front off to the west will plow through the area tonight which could pop up a rain shower or two and increase/shift our winds to the west that could initially gust up to 50 miles per hour late tonight/early tomorrow morning keeping lows close to 40 degrees. friday will bring more warmth, wind and sun pushing highs further into the 50s tt nearr60. now if i were to choose onn day that stann above the rest of he next seven, it would be saturday because, while it won t be quite as warm as friday, it will be calmer, still mild with a decent amount of sunshine. the rest of the weekend/early next week wil ....
