democratic presidential candidates will take the stage together tonight one last time before the iowa caucuses. hillary clinton, martin o malley and bernie sanders take part in a town hall at drake university in des moines, iowa. they ll answer questions individually. this is the last democratic forum before iowa s february first caucuses- the first in the nation. the des moines register newspaper announced its endorsements for the republican president on saturday. the paper picked hillary clinton because they say no other candidate can match the depth or experience. they praised her work as a party lines to fight for job creation and universal health care. on the republican side. the endorsed senator marco rubio because they say he has the potential to chart a different direction for the g-o-p. they praised his ideas on improving the economy. education system. and social programs. they say he represents the party s best hope. democratic frontrunner hillary clinton camp ....
today will present more sunshine and nice weather, but with a couple of twists as a little disturbance moves through the area. ahead of it, with calm winds and moisture at the surface, some patchy freezing fog will be around but should burn off fairly quickly as winds increase out of the southwest throughout the morning. as our little boundary sweeps across the area, in addition to the winds light mix will be possible in some of our northernmost counties during the midday hours. the vast majority of the viewing area though, will be mild with temperatures reaching well into the 30s to near 40 with some decent sunshine. we ll see more of the same 30-40 degree temperatures over the next few days including this weekend with a chance of a light mix saturday night/sunday morning. a more potent system looks to move in early next week giving us some decent snow chances next monday night and tuesday which could make for an interesting caucus night/groundhog day, so we ll have to ....
already in the 30s early this morning. we will however deal with some passing cloud cover especially across northwest iowa with a little bit more sunshine out west, so we ll be sort of splitting the difference of that here in sioux city as winds diminish out of the northwest. with some melting today and calmer winds tonight, fog will jump back into the realm of possibilities for friday morning s commute. another system will pass us by to the north on friday too which might produce a few sprinkles on an otherwise mild day, and those days will continue into the weekend with a slight chance of a light mix saturday night/sunday morning with yet another passing frontal boundary. the biggest of our concerns though is with a low pressure system moving out of the southwest early next week. its associated snow chances appear to be on track next monday night and tuesday along with strong winds and a shot of cold air moving in behind it, so be sure to enjoy the mild see graphics. ....
