BETHLEHEM-WOODBURYÂ â The Region 14 Board of Education voted Thursday, February 18, to place School Superintendent Dr. Joseph Olzacki on paid administrative leave, pending results of a job performance investigation.
The action followed the boardâs decision on Wednesday, February 3, to hire an independent investigator to review the job performance of the superintendent regarding the Covid-19 vaccination program. The latest decision will expand that investigation to include other areas.
Chairman George Bauer posted information on the school district website on Friday, February 19, writing, âWith many recent issues and concerns throughout the district, the board wants to move forward in improving the climate and increase the focus on educating our students.
