An investigation into a controversy surrounding a Southbury COVID-19 vaccine clinic is underway as state health officials said school board members will not be eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines when teachers are cleared to begin making appointments for inoculations.
The issue surfaced last week in the wake of a Southbury vaccine clinic for teachers and school employees in Regional districts 14 and 15, and Oxford. The teachers union said District 14 school board members as well as some spouses and their superintendent were moved to the front of the line and inoculated ahead of teachers and other frontline workers. ....
