Quite a bit of lightning as well. The rain is just hugging the coastline. The heavier rainfall and still active lightning in cape may at its been a very active lightning scene. On the vine street expressway around 24th street, threeminute drive time, headed westbound from 95 up towards the schuylkill expressway. You can see ongoing road work there. Headed towards 95 is where youll see some of the lane restrictions. Theyre actually just over for the off ramp. Its not blocking off any of the lanes right now. Out in upper merion, we have more reports of a road obstruction in trinity road, north and southbound right near the schuylkill expressway and the rest of our drive times for the philadelphia area are doing just fine, no problems on 95, the schuylkill or the blue route so far for the morning. Center is where you have storm force winds. This is a giant storm. Its going to take awhile for it to move over. It was standing in a tornado for a half hour. Thats the intensity of this. So still 175 mile an hour winds. Tomorrow its going to be passing coup pa. Its going to be passing the eastern most tip of cuba. Look at this. The cone barely goes over the mountains of cuba. Not enough to weaken it then its in the straits of florida. Right into the center of the cone over the tip of florida. Up florida, all the way through jacksonville at the category 4. And into georgia and downgrades to a category 1. This is probably going to be the most destructive path. More coming up in a few mngts. Thats the sound youll hear across miami. You can see an enormous eye headed towards the turks and cay koes. It would fit in that giant eye. The strongest winds are right around the eye and eye wall. Thats where the 175 mile an hour winds are. This could continue to strengthen some. Right now the pressure is 922 millibars. Its moving west. It stays over the open water. This is warm water. This may actually downgrade to a category 4 but thats 155 mile an hour winds. Whether its a 4 or 5, this is catastrophic. Then the cone takes it right over florida, perhaps the center of the cone into miami. This looks like it could be very early on sunday morning. And then up the east coast. But anywhere in this cone from the bahamas all the way over to tampa, that is where the track could jog to. It depends on where this hard turn is made. After that, it looks like the storm is going to maybe make a second landfall in either georgia or South Carolina. That could happen as early as monday or tuesday.
