The powerful storm is now barrelling towards the bahamas and south florida after leaving some caribbean islands in shambles. Officials say that 90 of the homes on anguilla and barbuda are destroyed. And at least 10 deaths are confirmed. And we are live in miami where people are evacuating ahead of a possible direct hit. This storm is no joke, it reduced the island of barbuda to rubble and is expected to head this way. Floridas governor is telling people to leave their home as soon as the evacuation is in place. Hurricane irma is suppose to be the most powerful storm to travel across the atlantic ocean. And half of puerto rico are without power. This may actually downgrade to a category 4 but thats 155 mile an hour winds. Whether its a 4 or 5, this is catastrophic. Then the cone takes it right over florida, perhaps the center of the cone into miami. This looks like it could be very early on sunday morning. And then up the east coast.
