what have you learned about this guy? reporter: here s what we know. 59-year-old john houser is a drifter from alabama. he didn t have much contact with his family. according to court documents, houser was so mentally ill and violent, his wife hid his guns years ago. his family even had him hospitalized against his will. police raided houser s motel room in lafayette today. that s where he had been staying since earlier this month. authorities say surveillance video shows houser walking into the theater to buy a ticket but he didn t display behavior that would sound an alarm. we know he had at least one additional magazine which he dropped in the lobby. he reinserted reloaded and returned back into the theater, at which point we think he fired one additional round and that was into himself. reporter: a total of 11 people were shot nine survived. three are now in stable condition. one remains in intensive care. two women were shot to death during the screening of ....
