marshall received an e-mail from the parent concerned about an occurrence that happened on the campus yesterday. reporter: police say nobody was hurt and there was minimal damage. we are told fires were extinguished with water, what is interesting investigators are now examining this there is a possible connection to racist graffiti written in this same cabrini dorm room earlier in the semester. i was shocked. reporter: they talked with us in september about the hateful word left on her door, university community quickly reacted, condemning the racial slur but the police investigation has dragged along with no results. officially the case is stalled , investigators say they are no longer looking for suspects due to a described lack of information. students, many now leaving for winter break are desperate for answer about what is happening on campus. it was just a very safe environment for me, as it is very sufficient that everything is happening in this same building.
