Pennsylvania Highlands Community College and Juniata College have entered into an agreement that gives Penn Highlands students studying business administration, liberal arts and sciences or psychology the option to continue their education and earn a bachelorâs degree from the Huntingdon County college.

Under this agreement, Penn Highlands graduates who earn an associateâs degree in business administration, liberal arts and sciences or psychology can then transfer to Juniata College to complete their studies toward a bachelorâs degree in business, communication, environmental science or psychology.

Steve Nunez, president of Penn Highlands, and James Troha, president of Juniata, signed the transfer agreement Wednesday via a Zoom call that included several representatives from both schools.
âWe need to celebrate these kinds of things,â Nunez said. âThereâs been so much work thatâs been going on in the (background). . I think itâs important for both of our colleges and for our residents and this is, to me, a really exciting moment for the students of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.â
