Building. Several people who live there believe it was started by a mentally ill man who lived there. He was taken to an institution and returned home yesterday. Suddenly overnight they heard a small explosion coming from his second floor apartment. Many saw smoke coming into their apartments. That is when the one woman i spoke with jumped off of her balcony. People are very nervous right now that everything they own has been destroyed because there is significant damage as you can see from this video to that building. Mess of one of the busiest travel days of the year. This is buffalo, new york, overnight. Parts of the area could see up to a foot of snow depending on where you are. This storm system combined snow, ice, drenching rain and dangerous gusting winds. At least 11 deaths are blamed on the weather since the storm began last week. And a reported tornado touched down along the North Carolina coast. There are reports of damage, trees and power lines are down, and a roof of a condominium was blown off. Ac transit bus could be released from a hospital. As kpix 5s da lin reports, the father of Luke Fleischman wants the suspect tried as a juvenile. Reporter 16yearold Richard Thomas is being tried as an adult for burning fleischman. He set the teens skirt on fire aboard a bus. The suspect and his attorney asked the judge to send the case to juvenile court. The victims father Carl Fleischman agrees. As a 16yearold, i feel that he should be tried as a juvenile. Reporter he says the teen feels the same way. I was a 16yearold and i know i wasnt the most mature person.
