A handle on it, but smoke got intense. I could see flames racing across a second floor ceiling. Then fire broke through the roof. As day came, it was clear the Old High School could not be saved. Now now, just trying to contain it because of the building it is in, protect exposure. As parts of the roof started falling, firefighters pulled back for safety. It took hours to put most of the flames out. For generations who went to school, it was tough to watch. It breaks my heart. Because of the controversy, they told me. Snow showers the next in line is the brutal cold and the president s day storm monday morning. Here is what the radar looks like not a lot falling right now.
