Tallahassee, Fla. – For the fourth time this season and third straight week, a Florida State pairing has earned CCSA Pair of the Week Honors. Morgan Chacon and Jordan Polo were named CCSA Pair of the Week following a 3-1 weekend against four top-20 ranked teams.
Chacon and Polo became the 19th pair at Florida State to earn Conference Pair of the Week. The pair are 11-4 on the season on courts three and four.
Chacon and Polo had the most successful weekend among the Seminoles at Cal Poly’s Center of Effort Challenge. All their matches were played in two sets on court four with wins against No. 3 UCLA, No. 13 Cal Poly, and No. 6 LMU and a loss to No. 1 USC.
On day one of the Center of Effort Challenge, Chacon and Polo earned the first match point for the Seminoles against UCLA. The pair won both sets in extra points, with the first set going to 29-27 and the second 25-23.

Chacon and Fitzpatrick became the 18th pair at Florida State to earn Conference Pair of the Week. The pair have been together for almost every dual this year with a team-leading 23-3 record. The pair went undefeated on the weekend at Unconquered Invitational. All five of their wins came on court two against TAMUCC, No. 5 LSU, No. 2 TCU, No. 15 FIU, and No. 19 Stetson. Chacon and Fitzpatrick started off the first day of the Unconquered Invitational with a 21-13, 21-18 win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Anderson and Bauer became the fifth pair at Florida State to earn AVCA Pair of the Week honors. They are currently 22-5 on the season.
The pair went undefeated on the weekend at the FSU’s Unconquered Invitational. All five of their wins came on court one against TAMUCC, No. 5 LSU, No. 2 TCU, No. 15 FIU, and No. 19 Stetson.
On day one of the Unconquered Invitational, the duo won all matches in two sets apiece. Anderson and Bauer outscored their opponents 127 to 84. Against Texas A&M Corpus Christi, the pair shut down the Islanders allowing only seven points in the first set and 14 in the second.

The pair went undefeated on the weekend at the UNF Invite in Jacksonville, Fla. All four of their wins came on court three against No. 18 Pepperdine, No. 10 FAU, No. 11 Georgia State and North Florida.
On day one of the UNF Invite, the duo won both matches in two sets apiece. Against Pepperdine, the pair dominated, allowing only 12 and 15 points in each set. They finished the day with a top-10 win over FAU. The pair solidified the sweep for the Seminoles, winning 21-17, 21-18.
