Tallahassee, Fla. – For the third time this season, a Florida State pairing has earned CCSA Pair of the Week Honors. Alaina Chacon and Madison Fitzpatrick were named CCSA Pair of the Week following a 5-0 weekend against four top-20 ranked teams. Chacon and Fitzpatrick became the 18th pair at Florida State to earn Conference Pair of the Week. The pair have been together for almost every dual this year with a team-leading 23-3 record. The pair went undefeated on the weekend at Unconquered Invitational. All five of their wins came on court two against TAMUCC, No. 5 LSU, No. 2 TCU, No. 15 FIU, and No. 19 Stetson. Chacon and Fitzpatrick started off the first day of the Unconquered Invitational with a 21-13, 21-18 win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi. In the next match against LSU, the pair earned their second match-clinching point against the Tigers this season.
