Tallahassee, Fla. – For the second time this season, a Florida State pairing has earned CCSA Pair of the Week Honors. Morgan Chacon and Jordan Polo were named CCSA Pair of the Week following a 4-0 weekend against three top-20 ranked teams.
Chacon and Polo became the 17th pair at Florida State to earn Conference Pair of the Week. This was the first full weekend that the pair has played together. They are 5-1 as a duo this season.
The pair went undefeated on the weekend at the UNF Invite in Jacksonville, Fla. All four of their wins came on court three against No. 18 Pepperdine, No. 10 FAU, No. 11 Georgia State and North Florida.
On day one of the UNF Invite, the duo won both matches in two sets apiece. Against Pepperdine, the pair dominated, allowing only 12 and 15 points in each set. They finished the day with a top-10 win over FAU. The pair solidified the sweep for the Seminoles, winning 21-17, 21-18.
