The officers were responding to a domestic disturbance call fire. A third palm springs officer was wounded, his condition, unknown at this hour. Within the past few mints we learned more about the officers killed today. One of them, 27yearold leslie zerebny, she was a brand new mother, just returned to the police force after giving birth 4 months ago. The other officer killed today in palm springs, a 35 year veteran of the force named a tragedy no matter how you at it. Police squat team swat teams, using a robot to go inside homes in the neighborhood. They believe the gunman is hiding somewhere in this community.
