Weve issued a first alert because of the icy conditions. We have Live Team Coverage of the storm and how it will impact you. We start with meteorologist bill henley. This is storm system just Getting Started in our area and will be with us all tay. But this morning is the greatest concern. Thats when were going to ea combination of no and ice. We went into a first alert at 4 00 this morning. And a combination of first snow and ice. And the icing is the biggest problem. Were going toee icy roadways and walkways. Those untreated surfaces treat them as being icy this morning. The atmosphere is colder. So until 3 00 this see accumulating snow and ice, and then its going to change over to rain. But snow covered walkways will lead slippery conditions, too. We will see some light snow to start with. Weve seen a few snowflakes so far.
