But we begin this noon with breaking news. Philadelphia police have identified the father and grandmother charged after a threeyearold girl shot herself in the leg. Thats right. The incident happened yesterday here on the 1300 block of south wilton street in kingsessing. The girls father Terrance Williams is charged with endangering the welfare of a child the girlfriends grandmother faces the same charges plus tampering with evidence. Vernon odom will have more details coming up in our next half hour. We have new details now about a mans dramatic rescue from a garbage truck. Police say this is the third shooting of this type in two months. Last one was november 9th when a threeyearold boy ibnkareem lawson shot himself to death. Several adults continue to deny any knowledge of how the stolen gun got there. No charges filed so far. Ironically police in the 26th district at 615 east girard are passing out free gun locks today. The city gives that gun lock to the sheriffs office, the Police Department and you need to utilize that.
